Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are handled for services and products offered by Animesh Patra through animeshpatra.me. All payments are processed via Razorpay.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Service not delivered: If we fail to deliver the agreed-upon service within the committed timeline (excluding delays caused by the client)
  • Duplicate payment: If you are charged more than once for the same service
  • Technical error: If a payment is processed due to a technical glitch
  • Service not as described: If the delivered service significantly deviates from what was agreed upon in writing

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after the service has been commenced
  • Partial completion of work due to client's failure to provide required information or feedback
  • Services that have been fully delivered and accepted
  • Custom development work that has been completed as per specifications
  • Consultation or advisory services already provided

4. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at animeshpatra.dev@gmail.com with your order/transaction details
  2. Include your name, payment reference number, and reason for the refund request
  3. We will review your request within 3-5 business days
  4. If approved, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method via Razorpay

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Before Service Commencement

  • You may cancel your order and request a full refund before the service work has started
  • Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of payment

5.2 After Service Commencement

  • If you cancel after work has begun, a partial refund may be issued based on the work completed
  • The refund amount will be calculated after deducting the cost of work already delivered
  • No refund will be issued if more than 50% of the work has been completed

6. Razorpay Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Please note:

  • Razorpay may take additional processing time for refunds depending on your bank
  • Refund timelines may vary based on your payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking)
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider
  • For payment-related disputes, you may also contact Razorpay support directly

7. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision:

  • You may escalate the matter by writing to us with additional details
  • We will re-evaluate the case and respond within 5 business days
  • All disputes shall be resolved amicably and, if necessary, under the jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
